the well-known, best selling Orthodox Christian children’s book of Greece,
presently in its seventh printing, is now available in English. The unique and
wise counsel of Elder Paisios of the Holy Mountain is presented in a way that is
perfect for children and adults alike. In every turn and twist of this adventure

elder into the fabric of the story, constructing a seamless garment of beauty,
charm and enlightenment. Be one of the first to read and impart the life-giving

I-ville - a Kingdom where pride and selfishness dwell, and where people live by the motto “Me first!” You-ville - a Kingdom where humility and kindness have their home, and where people put the good of others before their own.
This is the story of a young boy named Stubborn, as he strives to become the first person of I-ville to make the difficult journey to the beautiful, joy-filled Kingdom of You-ville, and to become a citizen there.
As we join Stubborn in his adventures, we learn, along with him, profound lessons in how to struggle against bad thoughts and feelings. Halloween Town
by Dennis Eugene Engleman; illustrated by Niko Chocheli As the
celebration of Halloween grows increasingly macabre and demonic,
Halloween Town offers a spiritually edifying alternative to secular and
pagan points of view. And it does so by means of a fascinating magical
story whose central characters must face and overcome wickedness within
before they can triumph over the greater evil that threatens from
without.
Young Nicholas is disappointed that his mother won't allow him to dress
as a monster and go trick-or-treating on Halloween night. But when
several of his friends come visiting in their costumes, a strange thing
happens: the dark spell lurking in a jack-o'-lantern calls forth a
dapperly dressed fellow who twirls a cane, wears dancing shoes-and
calls himself the "Halloween Spirit."
Promising fun, the Halloween Spirit takes Nicholas and his friends to
Halloween Town, where they are "invited" to become permanent members of
the Fallen Stars Club. They soon discover that getting out of Halloween
Town is not nearly as easy as getting in. It is not until Nicholas
remembers the warning words of his mother and realizes the power of
truth, that he understands how to save his friends from the clutches of
the Halloween Spirit.

words for U, one beginning with the short sound and one with the

sometimes they are not and say a different sound. Help them to
